In early spring we order chicks from a local hatchery. They begin their lives housed in a cozy spacious brooder. Once the weather warms and the chicks have begun developing protective feathers, they are moved into our pasture where they can freely forage on vegetation and insects. You will notice a profound difference in taste and texture when compared to conventionally raised poultry. Our birds are tender, tasty, and a truly gourmet addition to the dinner table. We recommend you order then before April 15th as they sell out quickly.
